Hey from Texas

I've been busy since graduation in the spring. I was home in Virginia for a month or so working and then packed up my truck and Mary and I headed for Texas! So here I am three weeks in Austin, my truck has since broke down and I have had no luck finding a job so far :( But it's cool in time all will be well.

As far as art I'm sorry to say I don't have much to show. While at home I did one illustration but unfortunately I can't show you that because I haven't gotten it scanned in yet but it's my oil drilling protest of course and as soon as I get squared away I'll show it to you. I also did some commissioned work for my sister and brother in law. They were three 2 1/2 x 4' woven pieces and I of course sent them off with out snapping a few photos but I'll get some eventually.

So today I rode the bus out to this sweet art store and spent more money then I should have on really nice paint brushes and a few other things. I am going to do three pieces that I am hoping to get in this gallery show downtown.

Here is something to look at until I can get more organized. They are some mixed media cityscapes I did for the man-ipulated show at the Co-lab in Savannah before I left. Not the greatest image but hopefully you'll get the idea.
